LOST and the X-Files

10 Feb

I just started watching The X-Files with my bf Steve.  He is also the person who introduced me to the wonderful, now my favorite show ever, LOST.  We have noticed, in just the first season of X-Files, how many actors have also been on LOST!  I wanted to see how many actors have appeared on both shows and I was hoping that there would be a definitive list out there that I could look at, instead of having to meticulously go through IMDB and figure this out on my own…  alas, there is not, so I figured I would provide this information to the internet, because I am nice like that.

I will be starting with Season 1 of LOST, combing through IMDB and figuring out which actors, even in bit parts, appeared in both shows.

It is possible that I have too much time on my hands.

Once an actor has been listed, I will not post their name again, even if they appear in more episodes of LOST.  It would just be too much to have to write Terry O’Quinn for EVERY episode!!!

LOST, pilot:
Cast and crew
.
Terry O’Quinn (John Locke) – in X-Files episodes “Aubrey” (1995) and “Trust No 1″ (2002).  Also in “The X-Files” movie.
Fredric Lehne
(Marshal Edward Mars) – in X-Files episodes “Travelers” (1998) and “The Unnatural” (1999).

Pilot, part 2:

SAME.

Tabula Rasa:

Cast and crew.
Nick Tate
(Ray Mullen) – in X-Files episode “Two Fathers” (1999).

Walkabout:
Cast and crew.
Billy Ray Gallion
(Randy Nations) – in X-Files episode “Retro” (2000).

White Rabbit:
No one new.

House of the Rising Sun:

No one new.

The Moth:
No one new.

Confidence Man:
No one new.

Solitary:
Cast and crew.
Scott Paulin
(Sullivan) – on X-Files episode “Scary Monsters” (2002).

Raised by Another:
No one new.

All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues:
No one new.

Whatever the Case May Be:
Cast and crew.
Tim Halligan
(Mark Hutton) – in X-Files episode “Dæmonicus” (2001).

Hearts and Minds:
No one new.

Special:
No one new.

Homecoming:
No one new.

Outlaws:
Cast and Crew.
Robert Patrick
(Hibbs) – on 40 episodes of the X-Files (2000-2002).

In Translation:
No one new.

Numbers:

Cast and crew.
Lillian Hurst
(Carmen Reyes) – in X-Files episode “El Munda Gira” (1997).
Ron Marasco (Ken Halperin) – in X-Files episode “Brand X” (2000).

Deus Ex Machina:
No one new.

Do No Harm:

No one new.

The Greater Good:

Cast and crew.
Jenny Gago
(Agent Alyssa Cole) – in X-Files episode “S.R. 819″ (1999).

Born to Run:
No one new.

Exodus, Part 1:
Cast and crew
.
Kevin E. West
(Detective Calderwood) – in X-Files episode “Nothing Important Happened Today II” (2001).

Exodus, Part 2:
Cast and crew
.
M.C. Gainey
(Tom Friendly) – in X-Files episode “Vienen” (2001).

So, 24 episodes and 12 actors in both shows.  I am not sure how big of parts any of these people played on the X-Files, since I have only seen season 1.  But, it is still somewhat interesting.

Seasons 2-5 (and counting) will be looked at as I have time.  I already know quite a few people (Man in Black, Horace Goodspeed, Jacob, Ben) who have been on both shows, but I will continue with my episode by episode system…for now.
